`Karkalada Pavadapurusha Santh Lorence` a film on the life sketch of ‘Santh Lorence’ by Divine World International has completed shooting. It is on the miracles of Lorence and Ravi Chetan is playing the pivotal role.

This is a film on 2000 years ago lived historical personality of Christian community. St Lawrence of Rome was one of the seven deacons of ancient Rome serving under Sixtus II who were martyred during the persecution of Valerian in 258 AD. St Lawrence Shrine or Attur Church is a Roman Catholic Church in Karkala. It came into existence in 1759 and has a history of miracles. This Kannada movie ‘Karkalada Pavada Purusha St Lawerence’ give an account of how the church at Attur came into existence and about the wonders and miracles of St Lawrence in the lives of numerous people.

Stephen Mendis is producer of this film. He wants to utilize the profits earned from this film to Divine charity house.

Shanker is behind camera and Bala is scoring music for seven songs. Ravichetan who played controversial role of ‘Satyananda’ is in title role. Bhavya, Tennis Krishna, Rekha Das, Shobaraj, Swasthik Shanker, Manmohan Roy, Allwyn D Silva, Shakthi and others are in the cast.

Ravi Chetan addressing the media said he has sentiment to take up this film. At the Church in Mangalore his first film song was shot for Thali Kattuva Shuba Vele.
